Tracy Mason received her bachelor’s degree in psychology in 2017, from Montreat College. In 2020, Tracy received her master’sdegree in Mental Health and Wellness, from Montreat College. Tracy is working towards her final master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, from Montreat College. She received certification to facilitate Resource Parent Curriculum (Trauma Informed) in the year 2020, from Duke University. 

Tracy has worked over a decade as a child welfare social worker, helping children and families in crisis. Tracy, as a former foster parent herself, began assisting foster parents, who often had children who had experienced abuse/neglect. She later followed her passion further into severe and persistent mental health, by working as a social worker, at one of the North Carolina State Psychiatric hospitals. She has experience in working with a diverse population with presenting mental health issues such as Mood/Personality Disorders, Schizophrenia, Bipolar Depression, Generalized Anxiety, PTSD, Depression, Substance use, eating disorders, and Co Dependency.

Tracy aims to work with couples, individuals, and families, who are in need of premarital counseling, couples therapy, individual therapy and family therapy. She hopes to be able to create a calm and safe place to think clearly, set goals and strengthen relationships.
